How to design a greeting card online (step by step with my design tool)

This tool is amazing for many reasons. I get to create lots of different portrait elements, and you get to mix and match what suits you. It's a unique illustration each time, and I love seeing what everyone designs. The best thing is that the variations are almost endless, as I keep adding more designs to it every day.

So here's how it works, in a nutshell.

For all the greeting cards, you get to create your own custom portrait illustration using the design tool. Then you type the recipient's name and a personal message to make the card truly yours.

For those who'd like to see it step by step, this post is for you!

Step 1:

Navigate to the card you want to design in the menu "Personalised Greeting Cards".

Step 2:

This screen will appear, and you can start customising your portrait by clicking any option on the right. As you select, you will see a preview on the left.

Step 3:

You can also type the recipient's name and a personal message in the text box.

Step 4:

Pick the number of cards you want and Add to cart. It will take a few seconds to process.

Tip: You can create multiple card designs by adding a new design to the cart each time!

Step 5:

Your card will appear in your cart, and you can double check your selections with the preview.

Step 6:

When you check out, make sure to leave a valid email address and enable the check box so that you can be subscribed to my monthly Art Drops, which is a freebie exclusively for subscribers.

 

I process all orders on the same (work)day, and I ship from The Netherlands with DHL or PostNL International.
