Every portrait starts with a conversation.
Tell me about the person and what the portrait is for. That’s the part that matters.

Your guests, painted on the night.
I set up at a table with paper, water and paint, and I paint your guests as the evening happens. People wander over, watch a face appear, and take home something made in the room.
Hi, I'm Jun-Yi. I trained as a graphic designer and illustrator, then I started painting people and pets. I've created hundreds of portraits since 2012, and a lot of cards along the way.
I capture the essence of a person in my signature, minimalistic yet detailed style. I paint from photographs, but a portrait is also the conversation that comes before. Tell me about the person and what the portrait is for. That's the part that matters.
