I sketch the shape
I lay out the branches around your family, place each person and mark the relationships, then share a pencil draft for you to approve.

Every portrait is painted individually in watercolour, then their name hand-lettered beneath.
Packed & posted
The finished tree is packed in a protective sleeve with stiff backing and then shipped to you, anywhere in the world.

A tree begins at three people for €40. Every face after that is €10. Parents, grandparents, children, the ones who married in. Count everyone you want on the branch.
Pets are welcome too, they count as a person.

How many people can I have? +
Three is the minimum to start a tree, and you can go up to twenty faces.
What if my photos are old or blurry? +
That's completely fine, and often the whole point. I work from whatever you have. A cracked photo of a grandparent is exactly the kind of face this is made for. So long as the photos are in colour (or you can tell me) and front-facing, I can work with them!
Can I add people later? +
Yes, though not to an existing painting. New babies and partners can be added to an existing tree as a separate commission. Just send the photo and I'll match the original style.
Do you paint pets? +
Yes. Dogs and cats (and sometimes even horses) all belong on the tree. They're counted as a person in the pricing.
How long does it take? +
Around 2 weeks from commission, depending on the number of faces.
